E-recording of collective agreements now allowed

19 August 2010

New electronic registries, both national and regional, have been created and will be up and running as of October 1, 2010. The aim is to broaden the electronic administration to include the recording and deposit procedures for collective agreements.

The rule (Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28th, Official State Gazette of June 12th) abrogates existing entries from 1981 which have become obsolete. The reform likewise seizes the opportunity to increase the catalogue of collective agreements which must be recorded as of October such as mediation agreements, strike settlement agreements and equal opportunity plans.
