Alberto Suárez Tramón specialises in commercial and corporate law, corporate restructuring and acquisitions (M&A). His experience includes advising on corporate and contract law, advising and leading M&A transactions, particularly in the mid-market, negotiating different types of commercial contracts and shareholder agreements, among others.
Listed by Leaders League for Corporate and M&A in 2022, 2023 and 2024, he has been and still is deputy secretary or secretary for boards of directors of several Spanish companies, most of which are owned by multinational groups or companies linked to international investment funds.
He has participated as a speaker at various events organised by institutions such as the APD and CEIM and regularly publishes opinion pieces and legal analyses in specialist and widely read media outlets such as La Ley, El Derecho, Cinco Días and Expansión.
He is a member of the Oviedo Bar Association (ICAO).
Alberto Suárez studied law at the Universidad de Oviedo. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues and completed the Advanced Programme in Legal Aspects of Financing at IE Law School.
He speaks Spanish and English.
